About me
We live in a fast paced society. With news changing hour by hour, journalists are needed more than ever to make sense of the complex world we're living in.
Ever since I can remember, I love writing. Starting out with short stories and poetry as a teen, I always got excited to find the right words. At the same time, I wanted to understand. Why do we – humans, societies, nations – act the way we do and what does that mean for us?
I started studying Communication Sciences at the University of Mainz in 2023. From 2024 to 2025, I worked as a journalist for a local newspaper in the region I grew up in in Germany. Since spring 2025, I'm working as an online newsroom assistant at the German public broadcaster ZDF, where I discovered my passion for TV news. In spring 2026, I went to the U.S. for an exchange semester at the University of Memphis to study Journalism.
